Introduction Riding Lesson

All new customers will need to visit us for an Introduction Lesson. This 'taster session' is limited to one per customer, and lets us assess your ability in the saddle to help create an individual riding plan that meets your needs. It also offers the ideal chance to meet our horses and staff, as well as exploring the many state-of-the-art facilities on site.

When you visit the Classical Riding Academy for your introduction lesson, we will provide a comprehensive tour of Molecomb Stud and talk through our professional approach to riding, which has seen us achieve great success in developing our customers’ abilities. You’ll get to meet our beautiful, highly trained horses – and some of our expert instructors, before having your consultation. In this part of the session, it’s our chance to see how proficient you are in the saddle. We’ll also discuss your riding history and what you’re looking to achieve from your time with us, to ensure that we’re able to put together an appropriate riding plan.

Please note: Introduction Lessons are limited to one lesson per person.

A rider registration form must be completed and submitted online prior to riding with us. This is a mandatory requirement, but also allows us to gather all the useful information we need to ensure you get the most out of your time in the saddle. Please note that our booking conditions mean we are unable to give refunds.

All riders must bring their own hats.

If you cancel within 48 hours or fail to turn up for any reason, your payment will not be refunded.

Lessons and other sessions cancelled with more than 48 hours' notice will be rescheduled to a date within six months of the original appointment.

Riding is an all-weather pursuit and goes ahead even in inclement conditions.
