TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Classical Riding Academy is committed to ensuring visitors' privacy whilst viewing our website and protecting the data of all of our clients.

This policy explains the types of data collected and how this information will be used.

ALL CLIENTS

Our booking system includes a rider registration step which must be completed before riding a horse. This will be countersigned after the lesson by an instructor. Must resubmit their Rider Registration Form if their details change. The responsibility falls to the parent/guardian if the child is under 18.

We operate a weight restriction for all riders. The maximum weight of a rider complete with Riding Hat and Boots is 80 kgs (12st 7lbs).

We reserve the right to refuse you to ride a particular horse if we feel that the safety of the rider or horse is in question. You reserve the right to change to another horse, providing one is available, and it is practical and safe to do so.

NEW CLIENTS

Are required to attend a mandatory assessment/introduction lesson before being able to book anything else. This allows us to ascertain your riding level. New clients are weight checked before the start of their Introduction Lesson complete with Riding Hat and Boots. The lesson will be cancelled and is non-refundable if the rider exceeds the weight limit of 80kg (12st 7lbs).

PREVIOUS CLIENTS

If you've not been riding with us for a year or more you will be asked to complete another assessment lesson.

PUNCTUALITY AND ARRIVAL TIMES

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the lesson/hack. If you are late, we unfortunately cannot make that time up as other clients will be waiting for their lessons to start on time. If we are late for whatever reason we will make up your lesson/hack time.

CANCELLATIONS

If you cancel within 48 hours or fail to turn up for any reason, your payment will not be refunded. Lessons and other sessions cancelled with more than 48 hours' notice will be rescheduled to a date within six months of the original appointment. Riding is an all-weather pursuit and goes ahead even in inclement conditions.
